Choose a Workshop Structure

Co-Lab Series

Format: 3-Part Learning Series | Ideal for more advanced content or deepening existing knowledge

Total Hours of programming: 4.5 hours (270 minutes) | Three 90-minute sessions

The (Co)Lab series offers significant benefits for advanced learners, emphasizing an intensive focus on workshop topics to ensure a deep understanding of complex concepts. Participants have the opportunity to both learn and refine their skills through multiple sessions, fostering continuous improvement. The program encourages close peer collaboration on intricate projects, promoting teamwork and shared learning experiences. Additionally, it facilitates relationship-building among participants, helping them form meaningful connections that enrich their educational journey.

*The three sessions of a (Co)Lab series can be scheduled weekly or within a single week according to your scheduling needs and students’ capacity.


Format: Single-session workshop | Ideal for introducing new subjects and motivating self-study 

Total Hours of programing: 1.5 hours | One 90-minute session

S.T.E.M. Days provide an immersive experience through workshops designed to create an immediate impact in students' learning. These sessions allow for a focused approach, directing students' attention to specific subject matter areas. With an emphasis on concentration, participants engage in exploration of topics that captivate their interest. This format is ideal for those with limited time, who wish to experiment with new content, or are eager to delve into a narrow subject area in an enjoyable and interactive manner.


S.T.E.M. Days

E.S.T.E.E.M Academy

Format: 1 week intensive | Ideal for summer break, March break, and winter holiday break 

Total Hours of programming: 7.5 hours (450 minutes) | Five 90-minute sessions

Benefits: 

Our multi-session format, with its comprehensive exploration of workshop subjects, supports students by maintaining their engagement through continuous learning opportunities. This approach fosters mastery by allowing students to develop and showcase their understanding of skills and knowledge. It also emphasizes hands-on application, ensuring that participants gain practical experience with the workshop material. Furthermore, the repeated interaction with content aids in retention, helping students reinforce and recall key concepts more effectively.

*The extended duration of this format also allows teachers to use student feedback to adjust the workshop content and pace to maximize the learning experience.

Cosmetic Chemistry

From lotion to sunscreen, we all rely on cosmetic science to help us take care of our skin. With our Cosmetic Chemistry workshops, students will get an inside look at how some of the products we use every day are made and a chance to mix up their very own formulas!

Cosmetic Chemistry workshops include:

  • Introduction to Cosmetic Science | key concepts and language, plus fun demonstrations 

  • Lab Safety | practical, supervised lessons on care and safety in handling ingredients

  • Cosmetic Sustainability | insights on natural ingredients and sustainable beauty practices 

  • Hands-on Formulation Activities | exciting experiments safely mixing ingredients

  • Product Development | product formulation with personalized scent, texture, and colour

  • Industry Planning | fundamentals of product development, from ideation to marketing

Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Robotics

This workshop invites learners to dive into the fast-paced world of robotics, automation, and AI basics with interactive tasks and problem-solving activities! 

AI and Robotics workshops include:

  • Introduction to AI and Robotics | key concepts and language, plus fun demonstrations 

  • AI Demonstrations | demos of AI functions like voice recognition and motion detection

  • Robot Construction | simple robot assembly with components like motors and sensors 

  • Programming Challenges | basic programming to have robots perform simple tasks

  • Problem-Solving | critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to solve programming issues

  • Industry Planning | fundamentals of product development, from ideation to marketing

Web Application & Coding

Many learners in our classrooms know their way around the internet as users, but ESTEEM Education empowers them to be web creators! The Web Application & Coding workshop gives students a chance to explore web development through immersive age-appropriate activities.  

Web Application and Coding workshops include:

  • Introduction to Coding Concepts | key concepts and language, plus hands-on exercises

  • Web Development Basics | introduction to the building blocks of website development

  • Engaging Activities | individual and team-based coding challenges and games

  • Website Project | apply new skills by developing and presenting a simple web application 

  • Industry Planning | fundamentals of product development, from ideation to marketing
